Dot NET Domain Name Registrations
When the Dot NET universal domain name extension was initially established in 1985, along with the first domains on the Internet, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Given the fact that there were no special prerequisites about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, dot NET domains were obtained and used for different purposes and by many people. This domain extension is a good substitute of .COM, particularly if the desired domain with the latter extension is not available for registration.
Getting a dot NET domain name with our firm is a piece of cake and takes just a couple of minutes, since we partner with an ICANN-certified registrar company. You can book such a domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it after the transfer process is finished. Transfers are available for all domain names, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have obtained an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures introduced by the dot NET Registry organization against unauthorized transfers. You can easily modify the WHOIS contact details of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you wouldn't like this info to be public at all, you can get a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to see your true contact details.
The .NET top-level domain name extension supports internationalized names, so you can decide if you want to aim at a certain country or area using a domain name in the local language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
