Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-code domain is quite popular both within the country and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for constructing inventive and appealing domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to have an easy-to-learn domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to come back to your website or to give it with colleagues and friends.
